The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has unveiled a new visual identity and trophy for the TotalEnergies CAF Futsal Africa Cup of Nations Morocco 2026 as the competition enters a new chapter.
The unveiling took place ahead of the official draw for the tournament, which was scheduled to be held in Rabat on Monday, August 10.
CAF says the new identity reflects the growth and ambition of futsal on the continent, with its design inspired by the speed, movement, skill and creativity that define the sport.
The new trophy also carries several symbolic elements linked to futsal. Its diagonal lines represent the speed and intensity of the game, while five golden arches represent the five players on the court for each team.
The final arch at the top of the trophy represents the team captain lifting a ball engraved with the African continent, symbolising the achievement of becoming African champions.
A matt gold map of Africa sits at the centre of the trophy against a shiny gold-plated background, while the base carries the engraved name of the competition.
The reverse side features an engraved roll of honour recognising the tournament's previous winners and its history.
CAF says the new visual identity and trophy form part of its efforts to strengthen the profile of futsal in Africa and showcase the continent's growing standard of the game on the international stage.
The TotalEnergies CAF Futsal Africa Cup of Nations Morocco 2026 will be played from October 12 to 21, 2026.
Eight nations have qualified for the tournament, namely Algeria, Angola, Egypt, Libya, Morocco, Mozambique, Tanzania and Zambia.
Morocco will host the competition as the participating nations battle for the continental title.
