Ghanaian forward Kedzie Korblah Jnr has completed a permanent transfer to Romanian Liga III club CS Dobreta, leaving newly promoted Ghana Premier League side Port City FC to begin a new chapter in European football.
The striker, who was the top scorer in Access Bank Division One League Zone Three with 15 goals, played a pivotal role in Port City’s promotion campaign. His 15 goals helped secure the club’s historic qualification to the Ghana Premier League for the 2026/27 season.
CS Dobreta, a club from Drobeta-Turnu Severin, is competing in Romania’s Liga III and aiming for promotion to higher divisions. The club recently appointed experienced coach Flavius Stoican to lead their project.
The move comes despite Port City’s earlier stance that Korblah Jnr was not for sale. However, the opportunity to play in Europe ultimately proved decisive for the striker.
Korblah Jnr’s European adventure marks a significant step in his career. At CS Dobreta, he will look to continue his development and help the club achieve its ambitions of climbing the Romanian football pyramid.
