Young striker Emmanuel Fobi has expressed his delight after sealing his move to Ghana Premier League champions Medeama Sporting Club.
Speaking in his first interview, Fobi described signing for the Yellow and Mauves as a privilege.
"It is a privilege to join a great club like Medeama Sporting Club. I know the expectations that come with wearing this badge, and I'm ready for the challenge,” the striker told Medi TV.
The Tarkwa-based club confirmed the attacker's signing on Friday, stating that he has penned a three-year contract.
“Medeama Sporting Club is delighted to announce the signing of Emmanuel Fobi on a three-year contract from Georgian top-flight side FC Dila Gori,” the club said in a statement on their website.
Fobi, who is relishing the challenge ahead, has vowed to work hard and give his all to ensure Medeama SC achieve success.
“I have come here to work hard every day, fight for this badge and give everything for the supporters. Together, I believe we can achieve great things in the league and in Africa,” Fobi added.
