Ghanaian midfielder Seedorf Asante has completed a move to Ivorian top-flight side Yamoussoukro FC, departing from Ghana Premier League club Kpando Heart of Lions.
The 23-year-old joins a club that is making significant moves as it prepares for its first season in the Ivorian Ligue 1.
Yamoussoukro FC secured promotion and has been spending heavily to strengthen its squad, signalling their intent to make a strong impression in the elite division.
Asante's move comes after a spell at Kpando Heart of Lions, where he played in the Ghana Premier League. The midfielder leaves the Kpando-based side to begin a new chapter in Ivory Coast.
The Ivorian club has been active in its preparations, recently playing a friendly match against French giants Olympique de Marseille as part of their pre-season. The match against Marseille, which Yamoussoukro FC lost 3-0, was part of the French club's summer tour in Ivory Coast .
Asante is expected to be a key figure for Yamoussoukro FC as they aim to establish themselves in the Ivorian top flight, with the club's ambitious project aiming to make an immediate impact in the league.
