William Owusu completes AD Ceuta B switch as Ghanaian striker arrives on free transfer

Ghanaian centre-forward William Owusu has joined Spanish side AD Ceuta B on a free transfer from Torre del Mar. The 21-year-old has agreed a deal with the club’s B team that runs until 30 June 2027.

Owusu moves after a short spell at Torre del Mar, continuing a rapid rise through the Spanish lower leagues in recent seasons. He made his name as a senior player with Recre Granada and Torre del Mar after stepping up from youth football at Marbella, where he featured for their under-19 side.

The forward has already had a taste of Spain’s semi-professional ranks, featuring in the Segunda Federacion Group IV and the promotion play-offs to the Segunda Federacion. Across those competitions he has accumulated eight appearances and more than 370 minutes of football, gaining experience against senior opposition in tightly contested divisions.

Before heading to Ceuta, Owusu had switched clubs regularly, moving from Marbella U19 to Atletico Porcuna in 2024, then on to Recre Granada and later Torre del Mar, each time on free transfers. His latest move gives him stability with a multi-year contract and the chance to establish himself within AD Ceuta’s structure.

Owusu now links up with AD Ceuta B ahead of the new campaign, with the Ghanaian striker officially registered as part of the squad until the end of the 2026-27 season following his free transfer from Torre del Mar.
