Black Stars defender Kojo Oppong Peprah has popped up as a major transfer target for English Championship outfit Burnley FC.
The OGC Nice is reportedly on the radar of The Clarets as they booster their squad ahead of the start of the season.
Peprah enjoyed an outstanding first season with OGC Nice in Ligue 1, where he made 29 appearances for the club in the French topflight.
His performances raised eyebrows with several clubs including Turkish outfit Trabzonspor also showing interest.
However, according to sources close to the English club, the team is preparing a bid for the defender in the summer transfer window.
Meanwhile, Nice desperately need money from player sales to offset part of their â¬70 million debt.
Peprah is currently on vacation after playing a role at the 2026 FIFA World Cup with Ghana, making two appearances as the Black Stars reached the round of 32.
Despite concerns about his fitness, the highly-rated centre-back is expected to be back in action in pre-season for Nice before his potential move to the English Championship.
