Ghanaian winger Emmanuel Addai says his attacking style of play matches OH Leuven's football philosophy after completing his move to the Belgian Pro League club.
The 24-year-old was unveiled by Leuven after signing a contract until 2028, bringing an end to speculation over his future following his departure from Azerbaijani champions Qarabag.
Speaking after putting pen to paper, Addai expressed his excitement about the next chapter of his career and explained the qualities he hopes to bring to his new team.
"I love attacking, finding open spaces, taking on defenders and showing that I'm not afraid to play football. That fits perfectly with what this team stands for," Addai said.
Addai arrives in Belgium following two productive seasons with Qarabag, where he established himself as one of the club's key attacking players in both domestic competitions and Europe.
Last season, Addai featured in 10 UEFA Champions League matches against elite opposition and finished the campaign with seven goals and four assists in 47 appearances across all competitions.
OH Leuven will be hoping the winger's pace, creativity and direct style of play will strengthen their attacking options ahead of the new Belgian Pro League season.
Addai is expected to join his new teammates immediately as preparations continue for the upcoming campaign, with the Ghanaian aiming to make an immediate impact at his new club after beginning a fresh chapter in Belgian football.
