Ghana U17 women’s team, the Black Maidens, continued preparations for their upcoming encounter against Liberia with an intensive training session at the Accra Sports Stadium on Wednesday.
Coach Joe Nana Adarkwa and his technical team supervised the session as the players stepped up preparations ahead of the crucial fixture.
The squad worked on tactical and physical drills, with attention focused on fitness, ball control, attacking movements and defensive organisation during the training session.
Players were put through a series of exercises aimed at sharpening the team’s overall performance as preparations continue for the important encounter.
The technical team appeared pleased with the intensity, discipline and commitment shown by the players as they fine-tune strategies ahead of the clash.
The Black Maidens will be hoping to secure a positive result against Liberia as they continue their push for qualification to the FIFA U17 Women’s World Cup.
