Managing Director of Metro Mass Transit Limited, Kale Caesar, has pledged round-the-clock transport operations in support of Ghana’s 24-hour economy agenda, assuring seamless mobility and vibrant matchday experiences at stadia nationwide.
In a major development, the Ghana Football Association has entered into a partnership with Metro Mass Transit aimed at strengthening transportation logistics for football in Ghana, with a particular focus on the national teams.
Under the agreement, Metro Mass Transit will deploy dedicated 54-seater buses to facilitate the movement of the Black Stars, other national teams, and key football stakeholders to assignments across the country, enhancing efficiency and coordination in team operations.
Referencing the government’s 24-hour economy agenda under President John Dramani Mahama, Caesar stressed the company’s readiness to support both economic activity and sporting events across Ghana.
“We are poised to provide the transportation that will keep businesses running at night and our sports stadia roaring with dribbles and goals during football matches at midnight as part of the 24-hour economy policy,” he said.
The partnership marks a significant step toward modernising football logistics in Ghana, integrating transport support with broader efforts in digital innovation, fan engagement, and institutional collaboration aimed at elevating the game at all levels.
