FC AshantiGold ’04 will officially celebrate their promotion to the 2026-27 Ghana Premier League with a coronation ceremony on Sunday, May 17, at the Obuasi Len Clay Stadium.
The ceremony will take place during the club’s final Access Bank Division One League Zone Two fixture of the season against King Faisal on Matchday 30.
The event is expected to attract officials from the Ghana Football Association, traditional leaders, former footballers and several invited dignitaries as the Obuasi-based side marks a successful campaign.
FC AshantiGold ’04 sealed qualification to the Ghana Premier League after finishing top of Zone Two following a strong season in which they held off competition from Ebusua Dwarfs in the race for promotion.
The coronation will crown a memorable campaign for the club, which is set to make its debut appearance in the Ghana Premier League next season.
FC AshantiGold ’04 become the latest side to celebrate promotion after Port City and Debibi United also secured qualification from their respective zones.
