Ghana winger Ibrahim Osman produced a standout performance for Birmingham City FC on Wednesday night, scoring a beautiful goal in their 2-1 victory over Preston North End.

The match, played at St Andrew’s Stadium in Round 44 of the season, saw the on-loan attacker immediately assert himself with his pace, creativity, and direct running at defenders.

Osman made his first major contribution just 10 minutes into the game when he delivered a precise pass to teammate Jay Stansfield. The striker finished clinically to give Birmingham an early lead and set the tone for a dominant opening spell.

Minutes later, Osman turned scorer. Receiving the ball wide, he beat his marker with a sharp drop of the shoulder, cut inside, and unleashed a stunning curling effort into the far corner, doubling Birmingham’s advantage and showcasing his attacking quality.

Despite his influence, Osman’s evening ended prematurely after 37 minutes due to an injury concern. His early exit was a setback for both player and team, especially given his explosive start.

Birmingham City eventually secured all three points, with Preston North End pulling one back through Andrew Hughes.
