Ghanaian second-tier club Accra Lions have confirmed that midfielder Bashiru Ibrahim Mohammed has successfully undergone knee surgery in Germany.
The club announced that the procedure was carried out on the player’s anterior cruciate ligament by specialists in Munich, marking an important step in his recovery.
Accra Lions expressed appreciation to their partner Eintracht Frankfurt for their support throughout the process, particularly for facilitating access to medical expertise and treatment.
Following the surgery, Bashiru also met club board member Lothar Matthaus, who offered advice and encouragement during his recovery period.
The club has wished the player a speedy return to full fitness as he begins rehabilitation.
