Manchester City forward Antoine Semenyo has praised teammate Erling Haaland, saying he is benefiting greatly from training alongside the prolific Norwegian striker.
The Ghana international only joined City during the January transfer window from AFC Bournemouth but has quickly settled into life at the Etihad, registering eight goals and three assists across all competitions so far.
Reflecting on his growing partnership with Haaland on the All Out Football podcast, the 26-year-old described the former Borussia Dortmund star as an exceptional professional and a constant source of inspiration in his development.
“He’s amazing⦠a top goalscorer. I learn a lot from him â movement, finishing â I’m adding it to my game,” he said.
Semenyo has already celebrated his first piece of silverware with City after they defeated Arsenal to lift the Carabao Cup.
He is expected to feature when Pep Guardiola’s side travel to Turf Moor to face Burnley in their next Premier League fixture. A victory would send City to the top of the table with 70 points.
