The strategic meeting brought together Presidents of Member Associations from both WAFU Zone A and Zone B, creating a platform for collaboration and forward planning.
Deliberations at the meeting focused on reviewing the progress of the current FIFA Forward 3.0 cycle, which is set to conclude in 2026, while laying the groundwork for the upcoming 4.0 phase.
The next cycle, scheduled to run from 2027 to 2030, is expected to strengthen the programme’s impact by expanding support for football administration, governance, and infrastructure development across member nations.
