Asante Kotoko coach Prince Owusu has made it clear his team will not be intimidated by Samartex ahead of their crucial league meeting.
Speaking before the Week 28 clash, Owusu stressed that Kotoko are just as strong and ready for the physical battle expected on Monday, April 6.
Asante Kotoko go into the game with mixed form, recording two wins, two draws, and one defeat in their last five matches. They will be hoping to build momentum at home.
"Yeah. We also have the same thing as well. If you watch our games get to the end, the fight that we put in since we started the league, it's been that way for us. So we are not scared about that issue. But you know, it's a match that we respect them as a team and I know they respect us as well," he told AKSC Media
Samartex, meanwhile, arrive struggling for consistency after three draws and two defeats in their last five outings, as they look to climb the table.
The match kicks off at 4:30 pm.
