Black Stars head coach Otto Addo is preparing for a difficult challenge as Ghana face Austria in an international friendly on Friday.
The Ghana boss highlighted the strength and structure of the Austrian side, pointing to their experienced squad and strong tactical setup under manager Ralf Rangnick. Addo believes Austria’s quality across all areas of the pitch will make them a serious opponent.
"They are good, they play well. They have some experienced players in the side. Tactically sound because of the man who is coaching them. David Alaba is very experienced. Their midfield is also very strong, and they have a strong frontline but like I said we have the materials to match them," he said in the pre match press conference.
Austria captain David Alaba remains one of the key figures in their setup, bringing leadership and experience to the team.
Despite acknowledging Austria’s strengths, Addo believes Ghana have what it takes to compete strongly in the game.
The Black Stars will take on Austria at the Ernst Happel Stadium in Vienna, with kick-off scheduled for 17:00 GMT.
