The head coach of Medeama Sporting Club, Ibrahim Tanko, is not giving up on the Ghana Premier League title despite his team’s recent struggles in the division.
The team is currently on a poor run of six league matches without a win and has lost its place at the summit of the league table after Sunday’s defeat to Dreams FC.
According to Ibrahim Tanko, his team is determined to continue working hard to win their upcoming matches.
He believes that if his team can go on a good run in the last eight matches of the season, they can still clinch the Premier League title at the end of the campaign.
“There is one thing we have to do, we have to keep on working, we have to make sure that we get our next three points at home.
“Definitely, we still have eight games to play, all the teams have very tough games to play, so we are going to prepare well for the last eight games,” Tanko told journalists after the loss to Dreams FC.
With Week 27 just around the corner, Medeama SC are preparing for a clash against bottom-placed Eleven Wonders. The fixture is scheduled to kick off at 3 pm at TnA Stadium on Friday, March 27.
