Ghana legend Asamoah Gyan has held talks with Atlantic City Mayor Marty Small Sr. on plans to support Ghanaian fans travelling to the United States for the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
Gyan, representing his foundation, Asamoah Gyan Foundation (AGF), presented one of his iconic No. 3 jerseys to the Mayor during the visit, which also included his manager, Samuel Anim Addo, CEO of AGF/Goldstar Consult Ltd, and Anita Barakat, CEO of Rediscover Africa.
Discussions focused on providing accommodation, logistics, security and overall support for Ghanaian supporters expected to travel for the tournament.
The meeting also explored opportunities in sports tourism, cultural exchange and business partnerships aimed at strengthening ties between Ghana, Africa and the United States.
The initiative forms part of broader efforts to ensure Ghanaian fans are well supported during the World Cup while promoting international collaboration beyond football.
