Black Stars head coach Otto Addo is set to reveal his squad for this month’s international friendlies against Austria and Germany as part of preparations for the 2026 World Cup.
Ghana will face Austria on Friday, March 27, 2026, at Vienna’s Ernst Happel Stadium, with kickoff scheduled for 17:00 GMT.
Following that fixture, Addo’s side will travel to Germany for a second friendly against the 2014 World Cup winners on Monday, March 30, in Stuttgart.
The technical team is expected to name a strong lineup for both matches, aiming to fine-tune the squad ahead of the global tournament.
Looking further ahead, the Black Stars will also meet Mexico in May before concluding their pre-World Cup preparations with a friendly against Wales on June 2.
Ghana, preparing for their fifth World Cup appearance, have been drawn in Group L alongside Panama, England, and Croatia. They will kick off their campaign against Panama on June 17, face England on June 23, and round out the group stage versus Croatia on June 27.
After early exits in the 2014 and 2022 tournaments, the Black Stars are determined to deliver a more competitive and resilient performance on North American soil.
