Nations FC return to action on Friday when they host Bechem United at the Dr Kwame Kyei Sports Complex in a Ghana Premier League fixture.
The Abrankese-based side go into the match encouraged by their recent away victory over Eleven Wonders at the Swedru Sports Stadium last weekend. It was Nations’ first away win of the league season and helped them move back into the top half of the standings.
Coach Frimpong Manso will also draw confidence from his team’s strong home record. Nations remain unbeaten in 12 league matches at home this season, recording seven wins and five draws. During that period they have scored 15 goals and conceded only seven, underlining their defensive organisation.
After 24 matches, Nations sit 10th on the table with 31 points, scoring 21 goals and conceding 22.
Bechem United travel to Abrankese in 13th position with 30 points from the same number of matches. The Hunters are currently without a win in their last two league games, including a goalless draw against Karela United at the Nana Fosu Gyeabour Park.
Away form has been a challenge for Bechem United this season. They have recorded just two draws and nine defeats on the road, scoring eight goals and conceding 23 in 11 away matches.
Recent meetings between the two sides suggest a competitive contest. In five encounters since December 2023, Bechem United have won twice while the other three matches ended in draws, including a 0-0 result the last time they met in October 2025.
