The head coach of Bechem United, Kobina Amissah, is upbeat ahead of the team’s clash against Vision FC in the Ghana Premier League.
The team nicknamed the Hunters has yet to pick up a win away from home in the 2025/26 Ghanaian top-flight league campaign.
Having played 10 away matches so far, the team has lost eight, drawn two, and taken only two points.
Acknowledging the team’s poor form in the Ghana Premier League, Coach Kobina Amissah insists that things must change.
Speaking in a pre-match interview ahead of Bechem United’s trip to face Vision FC this weekend, the coach expressed confidence in his team’s ability to secure a win, arguing that they have worked to correct their mistakes this week.
“We have corrected our mistakes for our away matches, so going away to Tema, we are not going to make the mistake of conceding early goals. We are going to make sure we don’t concede early goals so that in the second half, it will be ding dong affairs between the two clubs.
“Since they have not beaten us before, they are going to try to beat us. But we are also going to go all out to ensure they don’t beat us, and our unbeaten record against them will stand. That is exactly what we are working on,” Kobina Amissah told Bechem United TV.
He added, “We will score, protect the goal and make sure we come back with the three points.”
The Week 23 fixture between Vision FC and Bechem United will be played on Saturday, February 21.
The game is scheduled to kick off at 3 pm at Nii Adjei Kraku 11 Sports Complex.
