Ghanaian winger Daniel Nunoo has shown real character after bouncing back from injury to play a key role in SK Rapid Wien’s recent Austrian Bundesliga clash.
The 19-year-old made his return in Rapid’s 1-1 draw with Hartberg at the Allianz Stadion, coming on for the final 30 minutes.
Despite spending time on the sidelines, Nunoo looked sharp, confident, and eager to make an impact. His pace and movement gave Rapid fresh energy in attack, offering encouragement to both fans and coaches.
His performance was especially pleasing considering it was his first appearance after injury. He showed no fear, taking on defenders and linking well with teammates, a sign that his recovery is on the right path.
Nunoo is now expected to receive more playing time when Rapid face rivals Austria Wien on Sunday, as the club continues to ease him back into full match fitness.
This season, the young winger has featured in 11 Austrian Bundesliga matches and has found the net once, underlining his growing influence in the team.
Having risen from Ghana’s lower leagues to Austria’s top flight, Nunoo’s journey remains inspiring. With his confidence returning, the future looks bright for the talented teenager.
