New Swedru All Blacks coach Kassim Mingle Ocansey has expressed his delight at joining the club while making a direct appeal for support from management, stressing that unity is essential to achieving their goals this season.
The experienced Ghanaian coach, who officially took charge on Tuesday, January 27, shared his enthusiasm in his first interview.
"I'm happy to be here, and I will need their support, so they should give me the maximum support," Ocansey said. He immediately followed this with a clear message about collective responsibility: "I cannot do it alone. They have to support me for us to achieve what we want."
Ocansey, known for his previous work at Nations FC and Bechem United, emphasized his commitment to collaboration. "I'm happy to be here, and I'm going to cooperate with them to achieve the necessary result we need," he added, signalling his intent to build a strong, cooperative relationship with the club's existing structure.
The new coach faces an immediate test as he prepares for his debut on the touchline. Swedru All Blacks will host Gold Stars in their Week 21 Ghana Premier League fixture on Sunday, February 1, providing Ocansey with an early opportunity to begin implementing his vision and demonstrating the power of a united front at the Central Region club.
