Medeama have announced the transfer of right-back Kamaradini Mamudu to Sudanese giants Al Hilal Omdurman, bringing an end to his influential spell with the Mauve and Yellows.
Mamudu has signed a three-and-a-half-year deal with the Sudanese side, marking a major step in his professional career.
In a statement on the club’s website, Medeama expressed heartfelt gratitude to their departing star: “Medeama Sporting Club expresses its sincere appreciation to Kamaradini Mamudu for his dedication, professionalism, and outstanding contributions, and wishes him every success in the next chapter of his career.”
The 23-year-old joined Medeama ahead of the 2023/2024 season from Tamale City and quickly became one of the Ghana Premier League’s most dynamic defenders.
His attacking instincts, tireless work rate, and goal-scoring ability made him a standout performer. During the 2024/2025 season, he finished as the highest-scoring defender in the league with eight goals, and he has already netted five times in the current campaign after 20 matchdays, underlining his ongoing impact.
Mamudu also played a key role in Medeama’s maiden CAF Champions League campaign, contributing significantly both defensively and offensively.
