Asante Kotoko coach Karim Zito has insisted that they still have their eyes fixed on winning the Premier League title.
The Porcupine Warriors maintained their perfect run with a 3-0 win against Basake Holy Stars on Sunday at the Baba Yara Stadium.
Goals from Samba O'Neil, Albert Amoah and Kwame Opoku secured the win for the Reds.
Despite eight points separating them and league leaders Medeama SC, Zito praised his side for the hard work following the win and insisted they have not given up on the league title.
“It’s hard work; we increased the tempo of the training to a higher level. Because, after this, there is no opportunity again," he said.
“So, we have to go all out and execute our plan.
“Why not? We still have our eyes set on the league title. Its reaming 14 matches and we can do it," Zito said when asked about winning the title.
Asante Kotoko will hope to continue their impressive run when they travel to play Heart of Lions in the Matchday 21 games at the Kpando Sports Stadium.
