Danish-born Ghanaian winger Osman Addo has taken a major step in his career after completing a move to Viborg FF from B.93, GHANAsoccernet.com can confirm.
Viborg announced on Wednesday morning that they have secured the services of the highly-rated 21-year-old attacker on a long-term contract that runs until the summer of 2030, underlining the club’s belief in his potential.
Addo has been one of the standout performers at B.93 over the past two seasons, attracting interest from several clubs within Denmark.
Viborg, however, moved decisively to land the exciting wide player, who is known for his pace, dribbling ability and confidence in one-on-one situations.
Sporting director Mads Agesen expressed his delight at the signing, revealing that the Superliga side have monitored Addo closely for some time.
“We know Osman very well and have followed him for a long time. He is a skilful, dribbling winger with great flair and strong 1v1 qualities. He also has good finishing skills and fits perfectly into the way we want to play,” Agesen told the club’s official website.
Born in Denmark to Ghanaian parents, Addo has spent his entire senior career at B.93, where he made 60 first-team appearances and scored 15 goals.
His development began at youth level with Vanløse before moving to KB, where he further honed his skills.
The move to Viborg offers Addo the opportunity to test himself at the highest level of Danish football in the top division, while also putting him on the radar of Ghana football followers as a potential future option for the Black Stars.
