Andre Ayew remains confident of NAC Breda's survival chances despite the defeat to NEC Nijmegen in the Eredivisie.
The veteran forward came on for his second appearance in the Dutch league as NAC suffered a 4-3 home loss, keeping them in the drop zone.
Although NAC Breda sit in 17th position, only two points separate them and Telstar in the safe zone.
"Team spirit, never stop fighting. We keep going," posted the 36-year-old after the thriller at the Rat Valergh Stadion.
Meanwhile, in an explosive start to the game by the visitors, Eli Dasa and Sami Ouaissi scored in the space of seven minutes to hand NEC a two-goal lead before the 20th minute mark.
Moussa Soumano responded with a brace to level the scores in the 55th minute.
But NEC restored their lead with 21 minutes remaining after Dirk Proper fired home in the 69th minute, but NAC responded again through Boy Kemper to set up an intriguing finale.
The host were unlucky as they conceded in injury time following a Kodai Sano 94th minute strike.
Ayew joined NAC Breda in the winter transfer window after missing the first half of the season following his departure from Le Havre.
