Vision FC have been charged by the Ghana Football Association (GFA) for breaches of the Ghana Premier League Regulations, 2025, and the GFA Disciplinary Code, 2019, following their league fixture against Medeama SC.
Vision lost the game 2-1 with midfielder Salim Adams scoring two free kicks to secure victory for Medeama.
According to the GFA, Vision FC are alleged to have failed to control members of their technical team and substitutes, who invaded the field of play and caused delays during the match. The statement further alleges that supporters of the club also encroached onto the pitch, compounding the disruption.
The incidents are said to have occurred during the Ghana Premier League encounter, prompting regulatory action by the football governing body as part of efforts to enforce discipline and maintain order at league venues.
Vision FC have been given until Wednesday, 21 January 2026, to respond formally to the charges. The club is expected to submit its defence before the GFA’s Disciplinary Committee considers the matter and determines any sanctions, should the charges be upheld.
The development adds to growing scrutiny over crowd control and technical area conduct in the ongoing 2025â26 Ghana Premier League season.
