Stephan Ambrosius has made his intentions clear on his return to Karlsruher, stressing his desire to settle quickly and contribute without delay as the club navigates a demanding phase of the 2. Bundesliga season.
“I am happy to be back at KSC. I still know several players in the dressing room and I am confident I will settle in quickly again. I want to help the team as soon as possible with my experience,” the Ghana international said after sealing a loan move from Swiss side FC St. Gallen.
Ambrosius’ comeback comes at a crucial moment for Karlsruher, who have moved swiftly to reinforce their defensive unit ahead of a busy run of fixtures.
The 27-year-old centre-back is no stranger to the club, having previously featured during the 2022â23 campaign, a spell that allowed him to build familiarity with the club’s environment and expectations.
That prior experience is expected to ease his reintegration and accelerate his readiness for competitive action.
Karlsruher are back in action on Saturday when they travel to face PreuÃen in an away fixture, a match that could present Ambrosius with an early opportunity to translate his words into influence on the pitch.
