Alisa Hotel Tema has reaffirmed its commitment to community development and collaboration through a series of donations and stakeholder visits to mark the New Year.
As part of its corporate social responsibility initiatives, the hotel donated a computer together with its accessories and a printer to the Domestic Violence and Victim Support Unit (DOVVSU) of the Community 11 Police Station in Tema. This gesture is aimed at enhancing the unit’s operational efficiency in supporting victims and strengthening justice delivery.
ASP Caroline Tetteh Mensah, Unit Coordinator, expressed gratitude on behalf of the team, noting: “Having the needed IT equipment will greatly enhance our operations and dealings with the community”. Also present during the donation were Inspector Charlotte Oti-Okyere and Chief Inspector Irene Appiah-Asante, Station Officer for the unit.
In addition Alisa Hotel Tema paid a courtesy call on the Tema Traditional Council, where a cash donation was made to support the council’s operations. The visit underscored the hotel’s respect for traditional leadership and its role in fostering cultural heritage and community cohesion.
The hotel also extended its stakeholder engagements with a courtesy call on the Chief Executive Officer of Tema Municipal Assembly, Hon. Ebi Bright, to discuss areas of collaboration that will contribute to the municipality’s socio-economic development.
Speaking on the initiatives, Mr. Stephen Mulu Nzavi, General Manager of Alisa Hotel Tema, noted: “At Alisa Hotel Tema, we believe that hospitality goes beyond our doors. By supporting institutions that safeguard our communities and engaging with key stakeholders, we aim to contribute meaningfully to the growth and well-being of Tema and its people”.
