14:14 – Wesley Girls’ SHS’s dreams of a spot at the semifinal of the ongoing National Science and Maths Quiz face a setback after Round One of the quarterfinal contest which features them, Achimota School and Prempeh College.
The Cape Coast-based girls are the only girls' school left in the contest and most fans of the Primetime Show are rooting for them.
However, they must recover from the setback to progress.
Achimota School is in the lead and the scores are: Achimota, 25pts – Prempeh, 23pts – Wesley Girls, 18pts
Round Two, known as the Speed Race is up next. The questions are directed simultaneously to all the three schools. The fastest team rings the bell to answer.
A wrong answer is penalised by a point deduction.
