CHAN 2020 Qualifiers: Black Stars B team per diems paid ahead of Burkina Faso clash

In a move designed to motivate the Black Stars ahead of their very important CHAN 2020 Qualifier against Burkina Faso on Friday, the Sports Ministry has paid all outstanding per diems owed the players.

The players had not received what was due them after the first leg and their exertions in the WAFU Cup in Senegal.

Ghana lost 1-0 to Burkina Faso two weeks ago in Kumasi and they will have to win by two clear goals in order to book a place in the CHAN 2020 Tournament.


The Sports Ministry added that all the players would receive the full amount of their qualification bonus will be paid if they were to win in Burkina Faso and make it to the CHAN tournament.

Ghana is hoping to make it back to the CHAN tournament since 2014. They missed the 2016 and 2018 editions of the tournament. Read Full Story
