Dutch-Ghanaian midfielder Gabriel Misehouy provided an assist as NAC Breda defeated FC Eindhoven 4-2 in an entertaining Eerste Divisie clash on Saturday.
NAC Breda made an excellent start, opening the scoring after only four minutes. Charles-Andreas Brym finished Mohamed Nassoh’s assist, giving the home side an early advantage and allowing them to control the first half.
Eindhoven improved after the interval, but NAC Breda extended their lead in the 61st minute through Moussa Soumano, who converted another assist from Nassoh. The visitors refused to surrender and reduced the deficit eight minutes later, with Niek Munsters finding the net.
Guus Beaumont then levelled the match for Eindhoven in the 84th minute, setting up a tense finale. NAC Breda responded immediately, however, as Mohamed Bouchouari restored their lead two minutes later.
Misehouy, introduced in the 77th minute, made a decisive contribution in stoppage time. His assist allowed Imran Nazih to score NAC Breda’s fourth goal and seal a 4-2 victory.
NAC Breda will play Vitesse in the Eerste Divisie on October 3. Misehouy has played four league matches this season and provided two assists.
