Winfred Dormon bemoans Dreams FCâ??s poor start to new league season

Dreams FC head coach Winfred Dormon has lamented the team’s poor start to the 2026/27 Ghana Premier League season.

The Still Believe outfit kicked off the new campaign with a 3-1 defeat to Berekum Chelsea before losing 3-2 to Bibiani Gold Stars in their last outing.

Assessing his team’s start to the new season, Winfred Dormon admitted that the results have not been good.

However, he is pleased with the performance of his players in the two games and hopes the results will improve in upcoming matches.

“It’s not been good in terms of results, but we look good in some moments, especially the last game against Bibiani. Even after the red card we scored from a quick transition play but we didn’t defend well and we got punished. We returned to training and we have prepared to make sure we build on the positives and shy away from the negatives,” Winfred Dormon told Dreams FC TV.

After two failed attempts, Winfred Dormon and his Dreams FC side will hope to record their first win of the new season on Wednesday, September 23, when they face Medeama SC at Tuba Astro Turf.  That encounter will kick off at 15:00GMT.
