Ghanaian midfielder Benjamin Acquah endured a dramatic afternoon, coming off the bench to help Javor earn a 1â1 draw at Radnik Surdulica before being sent off late on.
The visitors made the perfect start, taking a 12thâminute lead when Ibrahim Tanko finished calmly from a Mamane Sabo pass.
Radnik dominated possession but struggled to break Javor down before the interval. Acquah was introduced at half-time to add energy in midfield, yet the hosts finally levelled on 62 minutes, Lazar StojanoviÄ striking to make it 1â1 and tilt the momentum their way. Javor had to dig in as Radnik pushed for a winner, with the visitors increasingly pinned back inside their own half.
Frustration told in the 87th minute when Acquah picked up a red card, leaving Javor to finish with ten men and survive a tense finale. Despite the dismissal, the point away from home keeps their recent run of stubborn performances intact.
Acquah has now made 6 appearances in the 2025/26 Serbian Super Liga. Javor next host Novi Pazar on Saturday, March 21, in another key league fixture.
