The Ghana Football Association will host the first batch of the CAF Licence A Coaching Course from February 17 to 26, 2026, at the Ghanaman Soccer Centre of Excellence in Prampram.
The 10-day intensive programme, backed by the Confederation of African Football, is expected to attract elite coaches from across the continent who are seeking to attain one of CAF’s highest coaching qualifications.
Former Ghana internationals Laryea Kingston and John Paintsil are part of the first batch of participants.
The CAF Licence A represents a major milestone for coaches aspiring to work at top-flight club level and within national team structures. Participants will be guided through a rigorous blend of theoretical and practical sessions designed to equip them with the advanced knowledge and skills required at the highest level of the game.
Key areas of focus will include modern tactical concepts, player development, performance analysis, leadership, and match preparation. The programme is structured to align African coaching education with global best practices while addressing the specific demands and realities of football on the continent.
