Head coach of Nations FC, Stephen Frimpong Manso has expressed his outfit determination to secure victory against Medeama SC in the Ghana Premier League.
The Abrankese-based club will play host to the Yellow and Mauve in the matchday 21 of the domestic top-flight this weekend.
Speaking to Kumasi-based Akoma FM, Manso, who replaced Kasim Mingle half-way season has reiterated his outfit desire to maximum points over Medeama.
“Medeama are a very good team and they had an excellent pre-season, including a tour to Abidjan. Looking at their current position, their squad remains intact and very experienced”
“However, the league is a different challenge altogether. We have not lost at home this season. Despite the experience they bring, we are determined to go for a win in this match. It may look difficult, but we must believe in ourselves”
“We are not focusing on the opponent; we are focusing on where we are playing and how to take advantage of that. This is our home ground, where we train every day, and we must make the best use of it” he said.
After 20 matches into the campaign, the Tarkwa-based club find themselves on top of the Premier League standing, accumulating 43 points, while Nations FC sit 12th spot with 24 points.
