Brighton & Hove Albion Sporting Director, Jason Ayto, beleives Birmingham City FC is a perfect place for Ibrahim Osman to continue his development.
The Ghana international has joined the English Championship side on loan until the end of the season.
Osman spent the first half of the season on loan at French side AJ Auxerre, where he made 15 appearances.
Speaking to the club's media, Jason Ayto beleives that the move would be beneficial to the development of the 21-year-old.
“This is a good opportunity for Ibrahim to continue his development back here in England after a six-month spell in the French league," he said.
“It means Ibrahim will continue playing regular football, and Birmingham City will provide another good environment. We will be monitoring his progress and wish him well for the second half of the season,” Ayto added.
Osman made his debut for the side in their 1-1 draw against Stoke City over the weekend. He will hope to maintain his place in the team when Birmingham City travel to play Oxford United this weekend.
