Black Stars centre-back Jerome Opoku has chalked a new milestone in Turkey at his club Istanbul Basaksehir.
The towering defender reached 100 games at Basaksehir after starring in the 2-1 victory over Fatih Karagumruk on Saturday.
Opoku, who joined the Turkish outfit on a permanent deal in 2024, achieved his latest feat after his 17th league appearance this season.
"Our footballer Jerome Opoku has earned the honor of playing in his 100th official match with the club," posted the club celebrating the Ghanaian guardsman.

In 100 appearances, Opoku netted eight goals and delivered seven assists for the Super Lig side.
Meanwhile, in his close to three seasons in the league, he has played 78 games with the rest coming in other competitions including the UEFA Conference League.
Opoku started his career in England with Fulham's academy before spells at Accrington Stanley, Plymouth Argyle and Vejle BK.
He decided to play for Ghana's national team in 2023 after a nationality switch from England.
