Deputy captain of Basake Holy Stars, Koffie Hagan, reached a new milestone on Sunday when he featured in the team’s Ghana Premier League clash against Dreams.
The midfielder, while featuring in the league fixture, marked his 100th appearance for the club.
Hagan, 29, was with Holy Stars during their time in the National Division One League and played a key role in the 2023/24 football season when the team secured promotion to compete in the Ghana Premier League.
In the team’s debut Premier League season, he was instrumental for the side both on and off the pitch, as they battled to maintain their top-flight status.
With extensive experience, he continues to play a key role in the midfield of Basake Holy Stars. He has contributed one goal in six appearances since the start of the ongoing league campaign and will be key for the side in their pursuit to stay up at the end of the season.
