Black Queens forward Princess Marfo says her return to Danish side FC Nordsjaelland comes with a renewed sense of maturity and determination after a season-and-a-half with American club Bay FC.
The Ghanaian attacker, who left Nordsjaelland in 2022 after 46 appearances in the red shirt, is back in Farum aiming to take her game to another level.
Marfo revealed that her time in the United States was not only a footballing challenge but also a period of personal growth.
“I have a huge desire to come back and play and to become even better than I was when I left. I’ve come back to stay, and I feel a great sense of calm and patience,” she said.
Reflecting further on her experience, she added: “It’s been a hectic year and a half, but I’ve learned an incredible amount about myself, become more mature, and gained a patience I perhaps didn’t have before. I’m looking forward to getting started and seeing all our fans at Right to Dream Park.”
Born in Ghana and a graduate of the Right to Dream Academy, Marfo rose to prominence at Nordsjaelland before earning her move to Bay FC, where she also established herself in the Black Queens squad during the 2024 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations in Morocco.
