Sports Minister Kofi Adams vows to support Jeremy Doku's projects in Ghana
Minister for Sports and Recreation, Hon. Kofi Iddie Adams, has pledged his ministrys full support for any developmental initiatives Belgium international Jeremy Doku undertakes in Ghana.The assurance came during a visit by the Manchester City winger, who is currently in the country for the off-season.Doku, who traces his roots to Ghana, paid a courtesy call on the Minister in Accra, accompanied by his father, Mr. Davies Doku, and other family members.The 23-year-old expressed appreciation for the warmth and support he continues to receive from Ghanaians, despite not representing the Black Stars.Hon. Adams commended the players humility and professionalism, stressing the pride Ghanaians feel whenever Doku takes to the pitch.Ghana may not field you in our national jersey, but every time you step on the pitch Ghana is mentioned, Adams stated.He further added, Your discipline and humility on and off the field make you a powerful role model for our youth. The Ministry stands ready to support any initiative you pursue here.The visit formed part of Dokus continued engagement with his heritage, underscoring his growing interest in contributing to Ghanas sporting development.
