Kotoko, Kaizer Chiefs to hold outreach at KNUST Basic School ahead of Toyota Cup
Asante Kotoko and South African side Kaizer Chiefs will visit the KNUST Basic School in Kumasi on Wednesday, July 16, as part of the build-up to the Toyota Cup match scheduled for July 26 in Durban.The outreach aims to connect with young fans and build excitement ahead of the friendly fixture. Pupils and staff of the school will take part in football drills, interactive sessions, and motivational talks led by representatives from both clubs.Joining the Kaizer Chiefs delegation will be South African football legend Siyabonga Nomvethe, whose presence is expected to resonate strongly with the students. Club executives from both sides will also be present to share in the experience.The outreach is one of several promotional activities leading up to the Toyota Cup clash at the Moses Mabhida Stadium. Both clubs have extended an invitation to the media to attend and cover what promises to be a lively and engaging event.
