Electroland Ghana Limited, the nation’s premier electronics and home appliance retailer, has achieved a monumental milestone for its groundbreaking ‘Aky?de? K?se?’ customer loyalty promotion.
Launched in October 2024, the initiative has already impacted over 5,000 beneficiaries, solidifying its status as the largest and most impactful promotion of its kind ever run by an electronics dealership in Ghana within a single year.
Aky?de? K?se?, which was conceived as a customer loyalty reward initiative a year ago, has rapidly evolved into a powerful catalyst, driving the Ghanaian public to choose Electroland showrooms nationwide as their preferred destination for all electronics and home appliance needs.
The promotion encompasses the company’s portfolio of top global brands, including Samsung, TCL, Midea, and Nasco.
Mini and Ultimate Draws
The promotion offers a comprehensive reward structure, featuring four weekly draws and a specialised mini-draw at the end of every month, ensuring consistent excitement for patrons. Additionally, the company conducted four ultimate draws in the year to celebrate its most loyal customers.
The four ultimate winners from the Greater Accra, Central, Ashanti, and Northern Regions have received life-changing, full electronics home makeovers worth GH?100,000.
These include a Samsung-themed makeover for the Accra winner, a TCL-themed makeover for the winner in Tamale, and a Nasco Electronics home makeover for the Mankessim winner.
Midea crowned the Kumasi winner, Laud Offei, the third ultimate winner in the Electroland Aky?de? K?se? promo, awarding him an all-expense-paid trip to Morocco to watch the AFCON finals plus GH?100,000 worth of Midea appliances.
Mr. Offei, a resident of London who frequently purchases appliances for family members in Kumasi, initially mistook the prize notification for a scam, highlighting the overwhelming and pleasantly surprising nature of the rewards.
Head of Marketing and Media Relations at Electroland Ghana, Adiza Ibrahim, in an interview with the B&FT, highlighted that the promo has been institutionalised and will run until 2029, offering customers continuous opportunities to be rewarded for their loyalty.
“Our core mission is to give customers a compelling reason to buy with us and feel genuinely excited about their purchases. Aky?de? K?se? is more than a promo; it’s our commitment to sharing success with the communities that have fueled our growth for over 15 years,” she said.
Furthermore, she added that, “This promotion is not because now we are very comfortable; even when economic headwinds challenged consumers, we introduced this initiative to give back and stimulate the market, placing societal well-being at the center of our operations,” she stated
Ambitious Growth and Nationwide Expansion
Adiza highlighted that Electroland’s commitment extends beyond promotions to significant infrastructure and community investment.
A key achievement in the year 2025 was the opening of the new Kumasi shopping centre, now the largest consumer electronics showroom in Ghana.
With 33 shops nationwide, Electroland provides substantial local employment, prioritising hiring from each destination locality and creating opportunities for local vendors.
The company’s expansion blueprint is aggressive and focused on accessibility. Plans are underway to open five new shops yearly, bringing world-class products closer to doorsteps across all 16 regions.
In 2025, it expanded into strategic areas, including Swedru, Akim Oda, Dansoman, Oyarifa, and further growth in Kumasi.
Looking Ahead to an Even Bigger 2026
With the Aky?de? K?se? promotion set to run until 2029, Electroland is poised for an even more impactful 2026.
The company hints at potentially revolutionary prizes for ultimate winners in the coming year, with a possibility of including either a house, a car, or educational scholarships.
This landmark first year of Aky?de? K?se? underscores Electroland Ghana’s position as the biggest and most reliable appliance distributor in the country.
For over 15 years, the company has built a nationwide showroom network dedicated to providing top-quality products from the world’s best brands, at reasonable prices, backed by the best after-sales service support in Ghana.
“We will continue to give consumers reasons to buy from us as a customer-centric entity. More retail shops mean we will be able to get the products closer to the doorstep of every home,” she reiterated.
Adiza also emphasised that the 2026 regional expansion initiative will factor in accessibility to educational institutions, hospitality destinations, and homes across the 16 regions.
This, she said, will ensure jobs in all the locations, employing people from the localities, and also giving local vendors opportunities to retail.
Furthermore, 2026 will see Electroland solidify its market leadership through a strategic new partnership as the sole distributor for TCL mobile phones in Ghana.
Appreciation to Brand Amsaddors
The media relations head on behalf of the brand also expressed gratitude to the outstanding brand ambassadors of the company who have helped the promotions reach nationwide.
Key among them are media personalities Serwaa Amihere and Deloris Frimpong Manso (Delay), A.J. Sarpong, and Carolina Sampson. Entertainers such as Comedian Waris, The Mitch Brothers, and Kwesi Official, among others.
“Our brand ambassadors are critical gatekeepers and influencers in the business ecosystem and so their contribution is significant and visible for everyone to see. We are proud of them and will continue working with them, especially online via the social media platforms to draw more customers on board, including the upper, middle and lower classes,” she said.
