Nestlé Ghana Limited has launched ‘Golden Morn’, a nutrient-rich cereal which can be eaten as breakfast for a whole family.
The cereal, made from maize and soya, contains nutrients such as iron, vitamins B1, B5, C, A, protein and calcium that help balance nutrition and digestion.
To launch Golden Morn, a week-long event was organised from September 16 to 20 this year at all four Nestlé sites in Accra. The event included sampling and interactive engagement activities focused on Golden Morn, allowing employees to experience the product first-hand and gain insights into its benefits.
According to Managing Director – Nestlé Ghana Ltd., Georgios Badaro, Golden Morn is not just a breakfast cereal but a nutritious and delicious way for both adults and children to start their day; and expressed excitement for its unveiling.
“We are delighted to bring Golden Morn to the Ghanaian market. It is a nutritious and delicious way to start your day; and we believe that it will become a household favourite, appealing to both kids and adults.
Dairy Category Manager – Nestlé Ghana Ltd., Gilbert Tweneboah Koduah, also said that the uniqueness of Golden Morn’s composition, thus fortified with iron and packed with essential nutrients, sets it apart from the other breakfast options.
He said: “We have carefully crafted Golden Morn to not only provide a delicious start to the day, but also to support the overall well-being and growth of individuals, especially children”.
Mr. Tweneboah Koduah further expressed optimism that Golden Morn will play a significant role in addressing the nutritional needs of the Ghanaian population.
He noted that the launch of Golden Morn marks an exciting milestone for Nestlé Ghana Ltd. as the company continues to innovate and bring products that contribute to a healthier future and reiterated the company’s commitment to provide high-quality, nutritious options that cater for the diverse preferences and needs of consumers.
