Henley & Partners, the global leader in residence and citizenship planning, successfully hosted a virtual press conference in Ghana to provide insights into the upcoming Investment Migration West Africa Roadshow. The event is designed to educate Ghanaians and West Africans on global mobility and investment migration opportunities.
Grace Arthur, a consultant at Henley & Partners, noted in her welcome address that Henley & Partners’ investment migration programme is the largest of its kind in Africa, with a clear objective to unlock international opportunities for West Africans.
“Henley & Partners has continually focused on expanding global opportunities for individuals around the world. Our goal is to enable Ghanaians and West Africans to thrive internationally by giving them access to second citizenships, allowing for freedom, security, and business expansion,” she emphasized.
The press conference featured prominent Henley & Partners executives, including Troy Hanley, Managing Director for Private Clients, who highlighted Henley & Partners’ presence in Ghana and its role in enhancing global mobility through strategic investments and education. He noted that investment migration programmes have been pivotal for Ghanaians seeking international opportunities, whether for lifestyle, business, or family security reasons.
Mr. Hanley further shared key findings from the Henley Private Wealth Migration Report, which tracks the movement of high-net-worth individuals worldwide. He explained: “Global migration trends show a significant shift, with 51,000 millionaires migrating annually in 2013 to 135,000 in 2023.
Countries like the UAE, the U.S., and Singapore are attracting the highest numbers, while nations such as China, the UK, India, South Korea, and Russia are experiencing a decline in wealthy individuals. Ghana’s affluent class is becoming increasingly global, recognizing the need to secure long-term stability for themselves and their families.”
Key sponsors and partners, such as Mercan Group, a global leader in immigration and real estate investments across Portugal and Greece; Range Developments, renowned for its ultra-luxury hotel projects linked to citizenship programmes in the Caribbean; Hotel 101 Madrid, pioneering accessible hospitality investment models in Europe; and Startup Visa Services, specializing in securing residency for entrepreneurs through innovative business ventures in Canada.
The rest include Bridge Partners, driving the expansion of mid-sized businesses through tailored immigration solutions in the UK; and Golden Gate Global, experts in EB-5 investment opportunities in the U.S., showcased the diverse range of global opportunities. Each partner offers unique pathways for individuals and businesses to secure long-term global success.
The upcoming West Africa Investment Migration Roadshow will cover Accra on October 15th, following successful events in Nigeria. The roadshow is not only an opportunity for individuals to explore global migration but also a platform for strategic investments, business expansion, and securing global opportunities for families.
