Euphoria Africa, a non-profit organisation focused on tackling critical social issues such as domestic violence, mental health awareness and community development, is set to launch its first gala and magazine on the September 14, 2024 at the exclusive country club, Trasacco Valley.
The star-studded event is aimed to bring together ambassadors, A-list celebrities and corporate leaders to address two critical issues; domestic violence and mental health awareness.
According to Executive Director – Euphoria Africa Charity, who also doubles as Chief Editor – Euphoria Africa Magazine, Kelvin Vincent, the event is targeted to raise funds for the Domestic Violence and Victim Support Unit (DOVVSU).
“This year, our aim is to raise funds for DOVVSU. We are geared to build a laboratory and expand their facilities for domestic violence victims,” he noted.
He further added that the gala will also mark the launch of the Euphoria Africa Magazine, a premium publication dedicated to address social issues and giving back to society. He also revealed that the magazine has already made waves with its digital covers featuring influential figures such as the Australian Ambassador, Bernice Owen-Jones; Norwegian Ambassador, Ingrid Mollestad; and UN mental health advocate, Akofa Wallace.
The black-tie event will feature a special performance by the sensational Ghanaian artist, Efya.
