A former Ghana FA boss, Dr. Nyaho Tamakloe has backed current president Kwesi Nyantakyi to re main in office despite the increasing calls for his exit.
The FIFA Executive Council member has been under pressure since Ghana failed to win the 2017 Cup of Nations in Gabon.
Some pundits and connoisseurs of the game believe that Nyantakyi has exhausted his football ideas hence the need for him to make way for a different personality to spearhead the affairs of the football Association.
But Nyaho Tamakloe insists nobody can force the astute football administrator out of office.
“Nyantakyi worked under me and he knows the ins and outs of the FA. He’s built a tremendous relationship internationally and to me, he is working well,” Nyaho said in an interview with Kumasi-based Adehye3 FM.
The outspoken administrator who currently on the board of Accra Hearts of Oak also admonished Ghanaians to learn to accommodate the current dispensation.
“You cannot force him out of the seat now, you can only take him out through an election so Ghanaians must accommodate him because constitutionally he is very right in his position and nobody can force him out.”
