Bashir Hayford, the head coach of Heart of Lions, has been awarded the NASCO Ghana Premier League Coach of the Month for November. This recognition comes after his team’s impressive performance, remaining unbeaten throughout the month and conceding no goals while scoring five.
Under Hayford’s leadership, Heart of Lions achieved notable victories in November, including a 1-0 away win against Asante Kotoko, a 1-0 home win over Berekum Chelsea, and a 3-0 triumph against Legon Cities.
Bashir Hayford’s Heart of Lions have made a remarkable turnaround after a disappointing 13th league finish last season and they are now leading the Ghana Premier League with 24 points, tied with Bibiani Gold Stars. This impressive performance is a testament to the team’s hard work and Hayford’s tactical brilliance.
Also Nations FC prolific striker and current league top scorer, Faisal Charwetey was named as the Ghana Premier League Player of the Month for November Award following an impressive performance in November where the forward recorded four goals in four matches while current league leader’s shot stopper, Lawrence Osei beat Benjamin Asare to claim Ghana Premier League Goalkeeper of the Month for November Award. The goalkeeper was crucial in Heart of Lions success in November where he kept four cleen sheets in four league games.
Hayford and Faisal will receive a 42-inch NASCO Television set from Electroland Ghana Limited while Lawrence Osei will receive a pair of gloves, a branded towel, a water bottle, and a T-shirt as part of his award.
