Former President John Mahama recently visited his former hall at the University of Ghana’s Commonwealth Hall.
The visit was part of a working tour of the Ayawaso West Wuogon Constituency and included John Dumelo, the NDC Parliamentary candidate for the upcoming 2024 elections, along with other party officials.
Mahama, who was in room A32 during his undergraduate studies, revisited his hall amidst cheers and delight of the students.
Videos circulating online show the vandals charged with ‘jama’ songs cheering John Mahama on.
In one of the videos, John Mahama could be seen starting the ‘jama’ song for the vandals.
Excitement erupted as students screamed campaign songs in support of the former president at Commonwealth Hall, also referred to as Vandal City.
